Andrew Gaze - Basketball Director
A recipient of the game's highest honour, being inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2013, Andrew Gaze is arguably Australia's greatest ever basketballer. A five-time Olympian, Gaze achievements also include being named National Basketball League (NBL) Most Valuable Player 7 times, and Australia's International Player of the Year 6 times. Gaze also possesses a wealth of coaching experience and expertise honed with his beloved Melbourne Tigers youth programs over many years and remains an active ambassador and custodian of the game of basketball in Australia.
The VU Basketball Academy brings together state-of-the art sport facilities, sport science capability and teaching expertise with the extensive sporting networks and coaching experience of the Gaze group.
